My goal is to find the best educational, social, and financial fit for your student’s future. I combine my expertise, parent input, and your student’s interests and desires to identify the path that best fits your student.
While I always enjoy meeting students and families in person, all services are also offered remotely.
Comprehensive Package
This package is for students who want guidance throughout the entire process, from path exploration through college application (if applicable).

Introductory meeting (free of charge).
Approximately 30 meetings, with more frequent sessions as deadlines approach in senior year. Freshmen and sophomores may require more sessions.
Access to online college planning tool (Custom College Plan™).
Advice on course selection in high school. High school counselors should also be consulted.
Review of academic transcript and ACT/SAT scores, as well as score submission advice.
Assistance with resume.
Advice on extracurricular activities.
Interest survey and career assessment, along with a review and interpretation of results.
Assistance setting up job shadowing, internships, and informational interviews.
Provide preference survey to determine college criteria.
Review and discuss college preferences with parent and student.
Assistance developing a preliminary college list of 10-20 schools, plus guidance narrowing this down to a final list of colleges or programs (maximum of 10).
Suggestions and guidelines for college visits.
An application timeline and assistance with applications.
Advice and guidance on application essays.
A general financial discussion with parents and student.
Review of FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) and resulting Estimated Family Contribution.
Guidance exploring scholarships and other financial aid, if desired.
Assistance preparing for college interviews.
Review and interpretation of acceptance and award letters from colleges.
A timeline for the steps from committing to and preparing to attend the chosen college.
Streamlined Package
This package is for seniors that need to condense the exploration process. This package includes a more limited number of services in order to meet key college application deadlines. Due to the compressed timeline, this package requires more preparation time (outside of meetings) from student and parents.

Introductory meeting (free of charge)
Approximately 15 meetings beginning as soon as the contract is signed through May 31st of senior year.
Access to online college planning tool (Custom College Plan™).
Review of academic transcript, ACT/SAT scores, and resume as well as score submission advice.
A preference survey to determine college criteria.
Review and discussion of college preferences with parent and student.
Assistance with college list of no more than 10 schools.
Suggestions and guidelines for college visits.
An application timeline and assistance with applications.
Advice and guidance with essays.
A discussion of FAFSA and resulting Estimated Family Contribution, plus guidance on exploring scholarships, if desired.
Review and interpretation of acceptance and award letters from colleges.
A timeline for steps of acceptance and preparations to attend final college.
Custom Package
For students and families that only need help with specific questions and activities, including exploring a military path or gap year, I provide custom services at an hourly rate.

All packages, including the Custom Package, start with a free introductory meeting.
Any of the services in the Comprehensive Package can be offered as a Custom Package.
At Potential Path, I want to help students and families find the right fit for their future. However, I DO NOT:
Guarantee placement for any university, college, program or apprenticeship.
Complete applications or write essays FOR the student.
Provide solicitation or intervention to any college or university.
